Málaga City Hall required a visual piece capable of presenting its institutional identity in a contemporary and engaging format. The objective was to showcase the architectural significance of the space while communicating its civic role — without resorting to conventional, fragmented coverage.

The challenge
A city hall is an institution before it is a building — and institutions rarely feel close. The challenge was to open its doors on screen: to guide the viewer through spaces most citizens never see, during the one season when the building becomes a destination. The piece had to promote the City Hall’s Christmas identity while carrying the weight of an official institution, all within a single uninterrupted flight where every room, transition, and reveal had to be resolved in real time.
The challenge

The piece had to promote the City Hall’s Christmas identity while carrying the weight of an official institution, all within a single uninterrupted flight where every room, transition, and reveal had to be resolved in real time.
The Process
Pre-production mapped the flight path room by room, choreographing drone movement, timing, and the exact points where each 3D title would appear. On set, the FPV pilot executed the route as one continuous take through tight interior spaces — a flight where centuries-old halls left no margin for error. In post, the 3D graphics were tracked and composited into the architecture, calibrated so every label reads as part of the space rather than a layer on top of it — keeping the journey unbroken from the front door to the final reveal.

Along the route, 3D motion graphics anchor each space with its name — titles integrated into the architecture itself, so the viewer always knows where the flight has taken them. One take, one journey, narrated by the Mayor of Málaga himself: from the nativity scene to the skyline, the institution shown as a place that belongs to its citizens.
